Alley Katz Consignment Agreement

Consignments of furniture is accepted by appointment only!  You may email pictures of large furniture or bring in cushion and picture.  Please contact Debbie @               479-719-0801         479-719-0801 for appointment or email pictures to Debbie:  alleykatzconsignment@gmail.com You must make an appointment and bring help to unload your items that are to large to fit in the back seat of a car. If picking up you must bring ties and blankets if needed and help to load. Local pick  up  and delivery  may be arranged for a fee.

First time consignors must open an account and receive a customer number. A contract and inventory sheet must be completed before items are accepted. No appointment needed for home décor. ( Accept items Tues-Fri before 3:00 pm. )

PRICING - Alley Katz reserves the exclusive right to a) accept and sell only those items which we determine to be in current style and/or in excellent condition and/or otherwise saleable, and b) determine the actual selling price of all item. We will work with you to arrive at a mutually beneficial sales price, but may decline to receive your items if we think your asking price is too high. We do not accept items broken, in need of repair, worn or smell with smoke or pet odor. Markdowns as follows: 10% after the first 30 days, an additional 10% every 30 days your items are on our sales floor. Additional reductions may apply during periodic sales or specials. Its in everyone’s interest for items to be priced at fair market value that would allow them to realistically sell within the first 30 days of the consignment period.

CONSIGNOR PAYMENTS - You will receive 50% of the selling price after all buyers fees and discounts have been paid. Buyers fees: 2 % charge for credit/debit or personal checks are deducted at time of purchase and is split between store and consignor. Checks over $50.00 will be mailed out on the 15th for previous months sales to out of town consignors only. You may use your store credit at anytime or pick up your check in store after the 15th ( for previous months sales)

EXPIRED ITEMS - Consignor agrees to allow Alley Katz to market items for a period of 90 days. THIS DATE IS PRINTED BOLDLY AT THE TOP OF THIS AGREEMENT. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS DATE. ALL MERCHANDISE LEFT PAST THE LAST PICKUP DATE WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF ALLEY KATZ .

Some options for unsold items include: a)Retrieving your unsold items. b) Re-consigning your items at a new price.). Any unsold item that is removed from Alley Katz, the consignor will be charged 10% of the current price of that item(s) when removed.. This is a administrative fee for time spent, cleaning, displaying, pricing, etc.

INSURANCE DISCLAIMER - You may want to cover items of greater value under your own insurance policy. I understand that Alley Katz Consignment, assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to listed merchandise by fire, theft, accident, or any other cause. I, (the consignor) acknowledge that all items presented are mine to sell and free of all liens and encumbrances and I (the consignor) agree to all terms and conditions.
